“ When I first joined the university, I saw teaching as just a profession — a way to share knowledge and build a career. But through my training at ECU, I have come to understand that teaching is far more than that; it is a calling from God to touch hearts, inspire minds, and build lives. The training I received has greatly enhanced my teaching skills and classroom practice. I have learned how to plan lessons effectively, manage a classroom with wisdom, and use diverse teaching methods that meet the needs of different learners. Practical experiences, especially during micro-teaching and school practice, have strengthened my confidence and creativity as a teacher. I now approach every lesson with a sense of purpose, knowing that each student is unique and deserving of care, patience, and understanding. ”

“ My time at Emmanuel Christian University has had a profound impact on my development as an educator. The university's emphasis on integrating faith and learning has shaped my approach to teaching, allowing me to create a learning environment that nurtures the whole child – academically, spiritually, and socially. The faculty's passion for teaching and commitment to mentorship has been instrumental in my growth. They modeled effective teaching practices, challenged my thinking, and encouraged me to reflect on my own teaching philosophy. Their support has empowered me to become a confident and innovative educator. The university's focus on community and service has also influenced my professional outlook. I strive to create a sense of belonging in my classroom, where students feel valued and supported. I aim to inspire my students to become active participants in their communities, using their skills and knowledge to make a positive impact ”

“ The Christ-centered approach at ECU has deepened my faith and helped me view education through a biblical perspective. Though it was difficult for me who hardly reads the Bible but I have learned to integrate Christian values such as love, integrity, and service into my teaching and daily life. Regular devotions, chapel sessions, and Christian courses reminded me that God is the foundation of true wisdom. This has strengthened my relationship with God and encouraged me to depend on Him for guidance in my teaching journey and personal life forever and ever ”

“ My name is Rev. Martin Chok from Terekeka County. I joined Emmanuel Christian University in 2025 for my Diploma in Theology. When I came, I could not read, write, or speak English—but now, through ECU, I can do all these with confidence. Life as a student is challenging since I live off campus and balance my studies with expenses like rent, food, and transport. At times I felt like giving up, but my wife’s encouragement and my faith in God have kept me strong. I am grateful to ECU for transforming my life and preparing me to serve God and my community more effectively. ”

“ I want to thank God, the lecturer and leadership of Emmanuel Christian University (ECU) for helping me to complete my Diploma in Business Administration. My journey was not easy, especially at the beginning when I almost dropped out because of financial challenges. But when I heard about the free scholarship offered to girls, I was filled with joy because it gave me a chance to continue with my studies. That scholarship became my breakthrough and a true blessing from God. I thank ECU for opening that door for me and helping me reach this far in my education. ECU has really changed my life both academically and spiritually. It is not just a university, but a place that builds students in all areas of life. Before joining ECU, I was very shy and found it hard to speak in public. But through group discussions, presentations, and mentorship from both lecturers and other professionals, I gained confidence and many new skills. I can now express myself freely and face challenges with courage. I thank ECU once again for transforming my life and helping me grow into a confident and responsible person ready to serve my community. ”
