This is where interested candidates apply through the directorate of admission of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology. The ministry processes all the application procedures and sends the file of the students to ECU.
This is where students apply directly to the University. ECU does all the admission processes and sends the certificate of the applicant to the ministry of Higher Education for verification, authentication and national registration number. Both of the admission processes have same requirements:
All applicants for Bachelor Degree programs must pass seven (7) of the main subjects of South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
All applicants for Diploma Programs must pass at least four (4) subjects of the main subjects of the South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
Candidate with foreign certificates must have their original certificate document authenticated by the Ministries of Education, Foreign Affairs and Embassy of South Sudan in the countries where they completed those certificates.
All admitted students’ credentials must be submitted to the office the registrar who will present it for verification and evaluation in the directorate of admission, evaluation and authentication in the national ministry of higher education.
